Joshua Chaddock is in his senior year at Roberts Wesleyan College, where he studies the trumpet with Dr. Paul Shewan. A native of the Rochester region, he began his musical training at Spencerport High School under the tutelage of Mr. Jon Viavattine and Mr. Ben Osborne. Josh is a member of several instrumental ensembles in the music department, including Wind Ensemble and RWCCO. Although the trumpet is his main instrument, Josh also studies piano with Alisa Curlee. Upon his graduation in 2010, Josh hopes to enter the teaching force and impact high school kids the way his former teachers impacted him- to love music. He also hopes to join a band and possibly even play in a professional film orchestra.

Katherine F. Dorsey is a junior at Roberts Wesleyan and studies voice with Constance Fee. She is a mezzo-soprano and performs as an alto II in the Chorale, and also serves as the Chorale Librarian. She has studied Composition with Dr. Daniel Barta as well as piano with Dr. Michael Landrum. Katie not only has a love of music, but also for her faith. She is a double major in Music and Biblical Studies and is eager to see where the Lord leads her after graduation. She graduated from Fairport High School in 2007 and had the opportunity to perform in the NYSSMA Conference All-State and MENC All-Eastern Festival in the choir as an alto II. In her ensembles over the years she has been able to conduct in rehearsals and performances, and has also premiered her original works with choral ensembles at Fairport and Roberts Wesleyan. The college has provided many opportunities for her musical and spiritual development and learning, and she looks forward to the time she has left at Roberts Wesleyan.

My name is Lee Ann Rodgers; I am currently in the Master of Music in Music Education program at Roberts Wesleyan College.  This institution has come to mean a great deal to me over the years, as I also received my Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Roberts in 1995.  I am an international student from Canada, and I originally chose Roberts over universities near home primarily for the Christian perspective and atmosphere, and for the genuine care and support of its faculty and staff.  In essence, it was the people at Roberts that made the difference, and I am pleased to say that some things really do get better with time.  Many changes in and around the campus, including a new library, auditorium, concert hall, sports fields, etc., have occurred but the warmth, support and the pursuit of striving to do one’s best for the glory of God is still present.  The well-rounded, Christian liberal arts education I received as an undergraduate has served me well in my teaching career thus far and the meaningful, lasting friendships with peers, faculty and staff have stood the test of time.  Presently, I am also privileged to be a graduate assistant.  Teaching and assisting undergraduates, seeing them grow and witnessing firsthand the truly dedicated faculty, has blessed me with a unique perspective.  I am simultaneously motivated to be a better student, teacher, and follower of Christ.  Choosing Roberts for my graduate studies is like coming home and starting a fresh new adventure all together.  I can hardly wait to see what the future holds for me now.

Faith Amour is a 2009 graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College from Toronto, Canada, having majored in Music Education with a Vocal concentration. She studied classical and jazz vocal music with Dr. Jeffrey McGhee and Mike VanAllen, respectively, and composition with Dr. Daniel Barta. While at Roberts, she was the winner of the McCullough Scholarship, the CBC Performing Arts Scholarship, the Charles M. Schaefer Memorial Scholarship. She was one of two winners of the RWCCO Concerto Aria Competition, and most notably, received the prestigious Presser Scholar Award from the Theodore Presser Foundation, which earned her a monetary award and the opportunity to perform a solo recital.  During her time at Roberts, Faith was active in all areas of campus life. Musically, she led the RWC Gospel Choir, sang in the Chorale and the Jazz Choir, and performed in campus plays and musicals. Outside of music, she created the French Conversation Club, and was involved in Acting on Aids, the Student Education Association Executive Team, the Human Diversity Council, and the Spanish Club. Faith’s Roberts training has prepared her to be a versatile and accomplished artist and human being. She is currently teaching elementary music in the Santa Fe Public School system, and performing jazz in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Nicole Ferguson is a senior music education major at Roberts Wesleyan College. Her concentration is in flute and piccolo, and she has studied with Diane Smith over the past four years. Nicole has been an active member of the Wind Ensemble, the Roberts Wesleyan College Community Orchestra, and the Roberts Wesleyan Flute Choir. She also held leadership positions as music librarian, Honors Band Festival Student Coordinator, and co-director of the SIRENS female a cappella group. In her free time, she works as a barista at a local coffee shop, and is a member of the SHINE worship band. She is spending the fall semester student teaching, working, and planning for a December wedding. All of these accomplishments and achievements are because of God's hand alone. All glory and praise be to Him!

Meg Conley is a senior cello performance major at Roberts Wesleyan College and currently studies with Ms. Janneke Hoogland. During her time at Roberts, Meg has had the opportunity to collaborate in concert with Ms. Constance Fee, Dr. Michael Landrum, Mrs. Julie Runion, as well as many other student performers. She has enjoyed studying cello, piano, voice, jazz improv, serving as principal cellist for RWCCO, tutoring for MUS 101 and string methods, and teaching private lessons. Meg was the 2010 recipient of the Presser Scholar Award. She has found the opportunity to learn from many of the gifted and godly faculty to be invaluable. Meg is in the process of applying for graduate schools in the hopes of continuing to pursue her studies in cello.
