Angel holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Soochow University in Taipei, Taiwan and a Master of Music degree in Violin Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music. In 1990, she toured North- America with Taipei Sinfonietta. In 1997 she toured Norh-America again with Yin-Qi Symphony Orchestra. She has been a member of the Rochester Philharmonic orchestra since 1997. From 2002 to the present, Angel has performed as the second violinist in the RPO’s Educational String Quintet, a group dedicated to bringing classical music to the elementary school children of the Rochester City Schools. Angel has also performed with the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra, the Rochester Oratorio Society, and the Skaneateles Festival Orchestra. As a chamber musician, Angel has appeared on “Live From Hochstein”, a live radio broadcast program with the Hochstein String Quartet in 2003 and with Quartsemble in 2006. Angel went on a guitar-violin duet concert tour of Taiwan in 2005. Angel is curently on the violin faculty of the Hochstein School of Music in Rochester, NY and teaches privately at home.
