The Division of Visual Arts offers four undergraduate degree majors, the Bachelor of
Arts in Fine Arts - Art Emphasis, the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Studio Art, the Bachelor
of Science in Art Education, and the Bachelor of Science in Art Studio. A brief description
of the degrees and programs is provided on this website. Each of these degrees
has more specific information that can be found in the college catalog online at
http://www.roberts.edu/Academics/Catalog/courses.aspx?curriculum=ART.
In each of our programs, students investigate the beauty and richness of God’s good
creation through intense studio exploration both in traditional technique and contemporary
approach. These studio programs work in concert with Art History and liberal arts
courses to develop a comprehensive understanding of visual language and our visual
heritage. It is in this unique atmosphere that we welcome the serious student of visual
art.
