Although some vary by program, general requirements for graduate admissions include:

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with a GPA of at least 2.75.
2. Three references (two professional and one character)
3. One writing sample (This "essay" should be 300-500 words in length, explaining why you are seeking admission to the program.  Include how this program will help you achieve your personal and/or professional goals.)
4. A current professional resume
5. Two official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended    

Due to the strict nature of program requirements, transfer credit for education courses may be allowed on a limited basis only with the approval of the Director of Graduate Programs.

Graduate admission to the Urban Teachers for Tomorrow Program is highly competitive and operates on an annual basis, with recruiting areas dependent upon needs forecasted by the Rochester City School District. Applications for this program are available beginning January 1st annually, with an application deadline of December 31st. General requirements for admissions to the Urban Teachers for Tomorrow Program include:
