Summer Ministry Teams Mission
It is the mission of the Summer Ministry Program to preach the gospel and communicate God’s truth and love through music, teaching, and counseling while promoting Roberts Wesleyan College to camps and churches. The program also gives Roberts students a chance to share their talents and skills for the glory of God, encouraging confidence and relational skills.
Method and Process of Team Selection
The team is comprised of Roberts students, who are selected and trained. They are a very talented group of individuals that lead in many different areas including music, drama, recreational activities, bible studies and devotions, teaching, counseling, etc. They are also ready to simply blend in to the flow of the camp program and participate in all camp activities.
Requesting a Team
The Director of Summer Ministry invites camps and churches to submit their request for a team to provide services for their camp or service. The deadline for requests annually is January 15. If you would like to request a team for your 2011 camp or church service, please print and complete the following forms by January 15, 2011:
1. Request for Team form
and
2. Either the Camp Information Form or the Church Information Form
