Chapel Attendance Guidelines

  1. RWC ID card required for receiving credit for chapel attendance.
    Students are required to scan ID card prior to the start of chapel, to receive proper credit. Credit can not be given for students who are late, or have temporary ID cards.
     
  2. Students are required to attend 22 chapels per semester.
    If a student does not meet this requirement, they will have to complete an hour of community service for each chapel missed. Failure to complete this service requirement will result in additional disciplinary action.
     
  3. Chapel Exemption Policies:
    • Part-time students (less than 12 credits) are not required to attend chapel.
    • Students 25 years of age or older are not required to attend chapel.
    • If chapel is missed due to RWC sponsored events such as athletic competition or class events (field trips, seminars, etc.), participants will not be given credit for chapel.
    • Student teachers, interns and clinical nursing students must complete a chapel excuse form from the Office of Student Services.
