Director of Student Health Center

Position Description/Responsibilities: The Vice President for Student Life is accepting applications for a full-time Student Health Center Director to provide advanced nursing care to members of the RWC student community by evaluating and treating student health while ensuring excellent patient care, documentation and safety guidelines. Refer students, as needed, to a physician and provide health education based on assessments and in accordance with Health Services protocols.. The Director is also responsible for operationalizing and directing all short, intermediate, and long-range planning for the Health Services program.
Qualifications: Current PNP/ANP or FNP with NYS certification and prescribing authorization. National NP certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years nursing experience in direct patient care including health assessment and decision-making regarding course of action. Excellent communication, decision-making and organizational skills. Must be CPR and First Aid certified. Previous counseling/teaching background helpful.
