Incident Reporting

Emergency calls to report a crime or serious incident can be accomplished by calling Campus Security at 594-6170 or just 6170 from a campus phone. In addition to this, we have 12 Blue Light phones located throughout the campus, which are connected to the Security Department. By pushing the buttons on these phones, an Officer will answer the call and respond if necessary.

Written reports of Criminal incidents can be made at the Security Office, located in the upper Voller Athletic Center (Room 241 or 261). Criminal activities can also be reported to a security authority person in the Student Life area of the Rinker Bldg. and/or any RD. All reported events will be conveyed to the Security Dept. for the Crime Statistics Report (if applicable).

Upon receipt of a call, if warranted, a Security Officer and/or Emergency personnel will be dispatched to the location. Every effort will be made to accomplish this in a timely manner, as calls are prioritized by severity and need. Criminal investigations are handled in conjunction with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office or the Ogden Police Department for further prosecutions. The campus community will be advised through special bulletins and the NEWLY installed phone communication system (sign up is free and voluntary at https://rwc.roberts.edu/emergencycontacts ) of situations that pose a threat to the safety and well being of our people.
