Faculty and Residence Hall Security

Roberts Wesleyan provides 24-hour-a-day security to our campus properties. Buildings are open for use during the weekdays and evening hours when classes are in session with the exception of some of the dormitories which are locked 24 hours a day. Some buildings are open on the weekend as dictated by academic needs. The general public can attend cultural and recreational events on the campus, but will be limited to the facilities in which the event is being held.

At night and at times when the campus is closed, buildings are kept locked. Access is limited to faculty, staff and students with prior authority and proper identification. Campus employees are assigned office and work areas. They are issued keys to these areas and are responsible for reporting lost or stolen keys.

Access to student dormitories is gained by student ID or dorm key. The Residence Hall Director issues dorm keys for students.

Photo ID Cards: All students, faculty and staff are required to obtain a photo identification card through the Security office. This process generally takes between 5-10 minutes and is done by visiting our office at 241 Voller Athletic Center during the hours between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Appointments can be made for evening hours by calling our office at 594-6170. If an ID card is misplaced, a new card can be obtained for a fee of $5.00. A broken card may be replaced free of charge upon presentation of the damaged ID.
