Disability Services
Welcome to the home of Disability Services at RWC. You can find links here to important information about services, policies, documentation, assistive technology and accommodations. Services are provided on an individual basis for students with disabilities and special learning needs. Students with documented disabilities who may need academic accommodations should make an appointment with the Coordinator of Services for Students with Disabilities as soon as possible. Based on individual needs, the Learning Center provides services for students with disabilities. These may include:
- academic skills development
- note takers
- readers
- books on tape through outside agencies
- writing assistance
- peer assistance
- testing accommodations
e.g. extended time, test reading, oral testing
- extended curricular programs
- referral to other services
- Supplemental Instruction and study groups
- academic advocacy with departments on campus
