Travel Vaccinations

Students participating on mission trips or studying abroad must obtain certain travel vaccines. Students should plan to receive the required vaccinations at least six weeks prior to leaving.

For further information, please consult with the nurse practitioner or visit the www.cdc.gov/travel.com website for recommendations.

WCHD provides free and low cost vaccines.

MCHD does not provide most of the travel vaccine, however, they do

provide Hepatitis A & B, Tetanus and Meningoccocal vaccines.
