Roberts Wesleyan College Roberts Wesleyan College Roberts Wesleyan College

Megan McCloskey

I was born and raised right here in Rochester NY.  I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice at SUNY Brockport in 2005.  I decided to come to Roberts Wesleyan College to get my Master’s in Social work after touring the school and immediately falling in love with the environment and the message of Christian faith.  In addition to studying for my Masters in Social Work I am also currently in the process of obtaining my license in play therapy.  I enjoy working with children and adolescence because I believe that the youth are our future and that many young people today do not realize how successful they can become.

When I am not in school I enjoy watching and playing all types of sports, and especially enjoy watching the New York Yankees. My friends and family are a huge support system to me and provide me and instill in me the morals and values that I hold very dear to my heart. I also enjoy exercising and keeping fit. I try to hit the gym and take classes in yoga and aerobics as much as I can.

I am looking forward to working with the students here at Roberts Wesleyan College, because I feel as though my journey and experience at Roberts has taught me to grow in faith as well as academically. I feel as though I am a stronger person today because of Roberts and to pass that message on to other students will be an amazing reward.
