Roberts Wesleyan College Roberts Wesleyan College Roberts Wesleyan College

Joshua Campbell

I came to Roberts as an undergraduate student in the spring of 1996 because of its Christian environment, but also I had developed friendships with people whom attended the college. I made some of my greatest friends here at Roberts. I have experienced life through the eyes of an undergraduate student, as an employee, and now as a graduate Masters of Social Work student. I worked in human service agencies for about seven years after finishing my undergraduate work, but it never seemed fulfilling enough. There were areas in which I saw needs unmet, and things that I thought I could see myself doing. I felt led to leave my job and go back to school to make a difference where I could not before.
I have been married for about a year and a quarter. My wife and I just bought a house where we will be moving with our dog soon. I enjoy many recreational activities, but I love sports most of all. I was an athlete during college, and now continue to enjoy lifting weights, and trying to stay in shape. My hope is that through my experiences both here at Roberts and life that I can help the student body with their needs, while continuing to grow and learn myself.
