How to use it:

Keyword	Auto-Response
Hours	Receive library hours
Phone	Receive library phone number

Reservations	Receive phone numbers for reserving the LIL and all other rooms.

OR

Send a short question to (585) 502-1573 and receive a response from a Librarian shortly after the message is received.

Responses will come as two messages, if they exceed 160 characters.

When can I use it?

SMS service hours are the same as the regular Reference Desk hours. Questions sent outside of service hours will receive an automated response and be answered the next service day.

How much does it cost?

Using our SMS service is free; however, your provider's standard text messaging rates may apply.

Is it safe to use?

Using Ask us! via SMS service is convenient and safe - your phone number is neither visible nor accessible to us.
