Things To Do Before Commencement Weekend

The following required documents must be submitted in order for you to participate in the Commencement ceremony and graduate:

Cap and Gown order form
Application for a Degree
Application to Major (Traditional Undergraduate students only)

If you have not turned in one or more of the above, please contact the Registration Office immediately (585.594.6966).

Graduates
Commencement Announcements are available for purchase at a cost of $1.00 each in the Office of Student Services (585-594-6350), lower level, Rinker Community Service Center, beginning Monday, March 24, 2008, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Request an interpreter for yourself and/or a guest(s), if needed, by Monday, April 21, 2008. Please call Jackie Christenson in the Office of Development (585.594.6355) to make your request.

Complete and submit the Online Reservation Form by Monday, May 5, 2008.

Request special accommodations for your guests if they will be using a wheelchair, walker, crutches, and/or require an extra-sturdy chair (275 lbs. or greater), by Friday, May 9, 2008. Please call Jackie Christenson in the Office of Development (585.594.6355) to request accommodations for your guests.

Request special seating for yourself, as a graduate, due to special circumstances. If you will be using a wheelchair, crutches,
and/or require an extra-sturdy chair (275 lbs. or greater), please call the Registration Office (585.594.6596) by Friday,
May 9, 2008.

Cap, Gown, and Ticket Pick Up
Pick up your cap, gown, and all reserved tickets in Room 150, lower level, Rinker Community Service Center, on one of the days noted below. When picking up these items, take a moment to sign the Graduate Scroll, an archived document containing signatures of graduates throughout the years. Additionally, please take time to complete a Graduate Career Survey and an Alumni Form.
