The Marketing major prepares students with the appropriate
theories and skills to effectively plan and manage the execution
of organizational strategies (involving products, pricing,
promotion, and distribution) that add value, facilitate exchanges,
and satisfy customers. The major builds on a strong general
education foundation with coursework in each of the core business
disciplines (management, accounting, marketing, economics,
finance, and information systems) and specialized coursework
in the field of marketing.
