Mark B. Redfield, Jr. |

Dr. Redfield has been a faculty
member at Roberts Wesleyan College since
1989. He is currently Associate Professor
of Business and Coordinator of Nonprofit
Management Studies at RWC. He previously
served as Director of RWC’s Organizational
Management Program, an Adult Degree Program
leading to a Bachelor of Science Degree.
He earned his Ph.D. at the Union Institute
& University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
His Ph.D. is in Nonprofit Management with
a special emphasis in Strategic Marketing
Management for Nonprofit Organizations.
Dr. Redfield’s dissertation was
Strategic Alliances and Collaborations
- A Study of the Perceptions of Leaders
about Factors Influencing Successful Collaborations
among Nonprofit Organizations. |

He has served on the Board of Directors
at The Al Sigl Center as well as the Rochester
Hearing and Speech Center. Dr. Redfield
has nineteen years of successful experience
in Advertising, Marketing Communications,
and Public Relations at leading advertising
agencies in the Rochester area including
Rumrill-Hoyt, Inc. which is now Saatchi
& Saatchi Rowland, Inc. As an Associate
Professor of Business, he has helped many
undergraduate students obtain marketing
and advertising internships in the greater
Rochester area. Some of his students have
moved onto major advertising agencies
including New York City and Toronto. Over
the years, Dr. Redfield has written and
executed plans to introduce Money-Matic
Machines for Marine Midland Bank, promote
chemicals for DuPont, and introduce a
point-of-sale system for Eastman Kodak’s
Retail Management System. He authored
and taught Nonprofit Management and Governance for the Master of Science in Management
Program. Also, he co-authored and taught
Strategic Marketing for Managers. He has
advised several graduate students with
their research projects.
