The Business Administration major prepares students with a broad-based business education. The major builds on a strong general education foundation with coursework in core business disciplines (management, accounting, marketing, finance, economics, and information systems) combined with a minor in a non-business discipline suiting the student's interests and career aspirations.

Business Administration students may choose 18 hours in a non-business discipline (existing College minor or advisor approved, student-initiated minor) where students can combine their knowledge and skills in business with other areas of knowledge, skills, and interests, and use this unique combination as preparation for entrance into those relevant industries or organizations (ie: art/music administration, social work or criminal justice administration, ministry administration, sports/athletic administration, technology administration, media administration, nursing/health care, etc.). In exceptional circumstances (approved by advisor and Department Chairperson), students may be able to substitute elective credits in lieu of a declared minor.
