Athletic Scholarship Agreement
Athletic scholarships typically remain constant from one year to the next. In some instances identified below, scholarship amounts may be adjusted. Any change in scholarship amounts will need approval by the athlete’s Coach and the Athletic Director.

Athletes dismissed from the team during the season for disciplinary action will forfeit the remaining portion of the scholarship for that academic year.

The coaching staff will meet with each athlete during and after the season to provide an assessment of the athlete’s performance in regards to the established scholarship worthy level (i.e. fitness, overall performance, attitude or effort).

Athletes dismissed from the team at the end of the season, or cut during tryouts, will be entitled to 33% of the previous scholarship amount for the corresponding year if the athlete chooses to continue at RWC.

Returning athletes who are identified as not performing at a scholarship worthy level may receive up to 33% less than the prior year’s scholarship amount.

Coaches, while staying within the program’s scholarship budget, may increase an athlete’s scholarship in order to promote and retain excellence.
