Overview

The M.Div. is a 92-credit program designed primarily for those preparing for the ordained ministry. It is also preferred for students seeking to prepare for the chaplaincy, missions, and parachurch ministries. Students meet on a one-night-per-week schedule as part of a cohort of up to 27 students for the first two years. 18-24 months are needed to complete other required courses and Field Education experience. Specific denominationally-based ordination requirements may be accommodated in the elective credits. NES Catalog

Cooperative Degree Program

NES has a Cooperative Degree Program with the Master of Social Work Program at Roberts Wesleyan College. Qualified students may complete both the M.Div. and the MSW degree in a time shortened manner. This is an exceptional program for individuals considering a social work ministry in a church or faith-based setting. (See Cooperative Degree Programs with RWC.) Click here for more information on the Roberts’ accredited MSW program. Students must apply and be accepted to both institutions.
