Healthy People 2010

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12

I attended Roberts as an undergraduate nursing student and have taught here for a number of years, so I know Roberts pretty well. As I’ve gotten to know other institutions, working on advanced degrees or working as a staff nurse, I am consistently struck by the contrast between Roberts and larger secular institutions. People at Roberts truly want to help the student be successful and the helpful atmosphere extends from the classroom to out-of-class contact with professors and the support services on the campus. In addition to this warm atmosphere, the education received prepares students to be outstanding nurses in their chosen fields. Roberts nursing students often cite our Division office staff as some of the most important people to them while they are here. Completing graduate degrees with my Roberts’ undergraduate program as a base was facilitated by the high quality education I received and skills I learned at Roberts. The new graduate programs added over the past few years serve to strengthen the resources for studying the helping professions. Roberts has a bright future.
